CAD tool homes in on brain disease

Royal Philips Electronics of the Netherlands has teamed up with the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) in Germany to develop a computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) system for neurodegenerative disease. The diagnostic technique, which has already proven accurate when used with historical data, is about to undergo clinical evaluation at UKE.
