A new dosimetry tool for PDT?
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) may hold great promise for targeted tumour treatment, but it remains firmly on the margins of mainstream oncology. One reason is the difficulty in working out a viable strategy for dosimetry. As yet, there is no general agreement on what constitutes a "dose" and few (if any) user-friendly tools to measure treatment doses in vivo.
