SPECT and MRI get it together
SPECT is a powerful molecular imaging tool that uses highly specific radiolabelled probes to provide functional information on biological processes. One major advantage of SPECT over other imaging techniques, including PET, is its ability to simultaneously image several biomarkers labelled with different radioisotopes. This capability could enable in vivo immunohistochemistry.
