Lower the dose, maintain the accuracy

Image guidance in radiotherapy – be it cone-beam CT positioning scans or intra-fraction kilovoltage (kV) imaging of moving tumours – offers the potential to increase targeting accuracy. The associated imaging dose delivered to the patient, however, can be cause for concern.
