Beginning in 1998 Oncology Data Systems has been 100% dedicated to the development of software to independently validate the Monitor Units or Dose for different treatment modalities. Oncology Data Systems provides independent validation software for more treatment modalities than any other company.

MuCheck is used for verification for conformal and 2D/3D plans. Customer has the ability to edit the shape of the treated field to account for "flash" for breast treatments. The Field in Field option can be used for segmental through DICOM-RT. Heterogeneity corrections can also be applied
The software can also be used for verification of electrons calculations using custom or standard cut-out correction factors. CyberKnife plans are also verified through MuCheck with any node ouside of 5% being highlighted for easy review.

IMRT Check for verification of dose points for Dynamic, multiple carriage Static, RapidArc and VMAT plans. The volumetric averaging tool allows the customer to sample 8 additional points within a given distance from the original dose point.

BrachyCheck uses the TG 43 formalism. We support the verification of HDR, LDR and permanent seed implants, and the use of the electronic source. The software automatically decays the source, and the source data it modifiable. You can customize your calculation preference. File import can be via DICOM or FTP interface. Dose points and dwell positions can be either imported or hand keyed. See the graphical display of color coded catheters and dwell positions when using DICOM import. Source data tables and software updates can be easily downloaded from the website. A detailed or summary report can be viewed and reports can be exported in .XLS,PDF,TIFF or RTF formats. Single or Multiple fractions are supported.

GammaKnife Check for independently verifying plans from GammaPlan, and comparing the results with GammKnife Check. You can view the skull 3D-geometry reconstruction, from all angles, and the resolution can be customized. An unlimited number of shot entries and reference points can be entered. Shot information is grouped by target. Off axis calculation factors for each of the 4 collimator sizes are included. Preview the report before printing. Automatic warning flag when % difference is greater than 5%. You have the ability to export the report in multiple file formats.
