Luxtron launches m3300 thermometry kit Sep 1, 2006

These FDA approved modules offer a low-cost temperature measurement solution for demanding medical applications requiring immunity from aggressive electromagnetic interference (EMI) environments, such as MRI scanners. Offered in 1, 2 and 4 channel versions, this OEM instrument comes in a compact DIN-rail module. The m3300 supersedes Luxtron’s m3200 OEM thermometers, hundreds of which are installed and used in treatment systems worldwide.

Medical temperature probes for the m3300 series can be custom designed to suit the application and all probe designs use moulded plastic connectors to ensure complete immunity to electromagnetic fields. Luxtron recommends that the probes be sterilized using ETO gas and not be autoclaved or radiation sterilized.
