Piezo motor specialist PI's new sub-compact linear motor slide provides many advantages.
The 8mm small P-653 is a true linear actuator (no rotation conversion). Consisting of only four parts it offers various advantages over magnetic linear motors and leadscrews. The high speed of 8"/sec (200 mm/sec) and self locking design with no energy consumption at rest make it ideal for low power battery powered applications.
