Fibre optic temperature measurement from Elliot Scientific Sep 19, 2008

Sensor immunity to electromagnetic interference and harsh environments makes this technology very advantageous compared to traditional sensors. Fibre optics are made of non-conductive material and are therefore inherently immune to EMI and/or RFI interference.
