V&R Export Jan 22, 2013

The Verify and Record (V&R) Export Utility exports data in a format tht is readable by a V&R system. The following capabilities are provided:

• Plan and calculation export from simple templates like whole brain fields and PA spine fields to complex IMRT.
• Create and export QA fields, such as MLC leaf strip patterns or test phantom cases for machine QA.

• Combine individual fields from a conventional treatment plan into a step and shoot IMRT sequence in RadCalc and subsequently export the plan for IMRT treatment delivery.
• Apply an MLC shape to a field without having to go back to a treatment planning system and quickly export the field for patients needing immediate treatment.
• For Pinnacle users, RadCalc is able to export plans back to Pinnacle for patient re-treatments or to reconstruct lost plans.

* In order to import this exported data file into a Verify and Record system, a separate module must be available from the appropriate vendor.
